Juliet's First Dipsea Steps Solo

This is a fairly common photo in our family Album: Bennett happy as a clam and Juliet crying about something known only to her.  Shortly after this pic, Juliet achieved her first Dipsea Steps solo, 672 steps all by herself.

My Birthday Weekend

Here are two pics from my birthday weekend.  My best present is my three kids, Bennett even wore his birthday suit to celebrate.  The next pic is all of us at dinner. 

Quick Trip to Paris

Cliff, Arty G and I took a quick trip to Paris the weekend of Feb 18.  Lots of walking around, cafes, good dinners and visiting friends.  We took a quick trip on the TGV to Lille.  I also managed to pick up a few posters.

The Dipsea Steps

I took the kids for a hike down the Dispea steps into town on Sunday.  Bennett went all the way down and up solo, Juliet hitched a ride on top most of the way down and all of the way up.  Juliet still wants to wear Bennett's clothes.

Lessons on Judasim

This weekend I was getting ready to go to a Bar Mitzvah.  Bennett saw me putting on a tie and wanted to wear one as well.  Luckily I found one that matched his (birthday) suit.  When I got back from the Bar Mitzvah, I was telling Bennett about my trip to synagogue and that I was Jewish and that he was Jewish too.  I told him that being Jewish means that you are supposed to be kind and compassionate and treat people nicely.  He thought about it for a second and said, "John (one of the kids at school) isn't being very Jewish to me".
